I figured it's time to update this thing.
I'm currently working for a financial brokerage company. I enjoy my work and especially enjoy the hours they have me working.
I have given up teaching violin and am now just doing it as a hobby. I've taken up dancing and have learned how to swing dance. I am now a part of the U of U Swing Dance Club.
The family badgering continues about the whole marriage issue. It's not that I don't want to get married. I'm not going to just throw my arms in the air and surrender though. I have my dignity.
I've been swimming to try and lose those pounds earned in Texas. Although I grew in many ways down in the south, my waist was not one that I had planned for. So far, I've been having some success! I've lost 35 lbs in 7 weeks. Not bad, eh? Now all I have to do is lose another 50 lbs and I'll be right back where I started.
