I have been living in Blackfoot, Idaho for about 30 years now. I teach 7th grade at Mountain View Middle School. My wife Kanungnid (Sirimongkol) Merritt (She goes by Connie) and I have been married for 28 years now. We have three daughters. Amy our oldest lives in Draper Utah and teaches 1st grade at Riverton. She is also working on her masters degree and her national boards. Melissa our 2nd daughter is a Junior at BYU-Idaho and has finally decided to major in business (It changes so often--i'm not sure), Kimberly our youngest, is a sophomore at BYU-Idaho now. She is majoring iin communications. I have had many church callings over the years--Elders Qm President, gospel doctrine teacher, various clerks in several bishoprics, stake high councilor, Bishop of the Blackfoot Third Ward. In June of 2008 our family moved to a brand new home out of our ward and stake (that ended my term as bishop). We now are in the Wapello 2nd Ward and the Blackfoot Stake. Currently Connie and I are Ward Missionaries and I teach the H.P. Group in our ward. Our familly has traveled to Thailand twice to visit with family and friends. We love it there. |
