I returned from my mission and immediately went back to my graduate studies at Yale. In 1977, I married Melinda Smart. I graduated in 78 and worked in Boston for a few years before doing additional training in St. Louis. I then returned to Boston where I took a faculty position at Harvard Medical School. I remained in Boston until 1998 when I took a position at BYU. Melinda and I have 4 children (ages 15-22 currently). I have had many church callings, mostly at the ward level, but am currently serving as a high counselor in a student stake, which is lot of fun. |
