Devin (also a former missionary to Thailand, 1990-1992) & I are living back here in Thailand with our 4 wonderful children; Rhees -9, Ambrian - 7, Aybrielle - 4, & Kambren, who will be 2 in April '06. We have been back for almost 2 1/2 years & are loving living in Thailand just as much as we did when we were missionaries. We lived in Nonthaburi for the first almost 2 years that we were back, but in October moved down to Sri Racha, Chonburi to be close to Devin's work.
Devin is the Southeast Asia Managing Director for Mariani Co., a dried fruit producer/packager out of Vacaville, CA. I was homeschooling our children & also teaching private piano lessons up in Nonthaburi, however, since our move the kids are in school at the American International School down here & I am not teaching piano. I love just being the mommy!
Devin is on the Stake High Council & I am the 1st Counselor in the RS Presidency in the Bangkok English Branch. The first time we lived in Bangkok after we were married we were members of the Bangkhen branch. But this time we have chosen to attend the English speaking branch since our kids don't speak much Thai. We love the gospel & know that it is true! The church is continually getting stronger & stronger here in this awesome country. We will be forever grateful for missions & for the opportunity we had to serve here! "Many are called...but few go to Thailand!"
We would love to hear from any & all of our great missionary friends & would gladly welcome visits to our home if anyone ever comes over to thiaw. |
