http://www.byuh.edu | | Presidents: Floyd Hogan (1982 - 1985) | Served: 1983 - 1985 | Language(s) spoken:Thai, some Easan, some spanish | Areas Served: Samsaen, Phrakanong, Phitsanulok, Thonburi, Bangnaa, Mahasarakham | Companions: Mark Peterson | Your Occupation: International Student Advisor | Spouse: Onjana Khamwong | Comments: I still say we served in the greatest mission ever. It took me 17 years to finally go back and visit, and when I did my former ZL was President! - Elder Good Man. Well, I remember a lot more, Elder MOON (Mullen), Tananchai, Averett, McDanials, so much more. Me: I am back where I belong finally, serving in the Primary. I have four great kids - one graduating from BYU Utah (Emerald), one doing community college in California (Neelan), and two still in high school (Perryn and Rosy). I am alive and have the most wonderful wife of six years - a perfect Thai woman, Onjana Khamwong. I have taught in the public school system and done my own consulting, worked for the Department of Homeland Security (formerly DOJ) for about 14 years as an INS (now USCIS) Examiner. Before that, I was a bank examiner, and a student working at PCC in Hawaii playing the drums nightly at the best job I will never ever have again. But I did finally find my way back to Oahu - I am now an International Student Advisor at BYU-Hawaii, living on the North Shore, and plan to never leave. My kids attend Kahuku High and go to Seminary - hoping to see my son PJ ready to serve a mission before long. Glad to be able to keep in touch with anyone from the Good Ole Days. |
