I am currently a student, again! After returning home from Thailand I went back to BYU in Provo, married Marcus Lowe, had our daughter Gracie and graduated with a BS degree in Health Science (that's the short version). After Marcus graduated we left Provo but not before we had our son Matthew, on Father's Day. Marcus received his Master's of Accountancy at the University of Oregon in 2009 and now works in Portland, OR. With my parents living close by to help with our children I decided to return to school and will be a Dentist in about 3 years, give or take, I'm half way through.
Among all of this I've gained a passion for running...I had to, the pounds weren't going away on their own after Gracie and Matthew were born.
I can't begin to express how much having been a missionary has helped me in my life. As a student I learned discipline, as a wife I learned about companionship and as a Mother I learned patience and love. If I never got a chance to say how much I appreciated serving with those of you whom I served with, thank you, I loved it. Kara |
