Comments:
I'm afraid that after 27 years working for Uncle Sam sitting at a desk, I am no longer the painfully thin person I was in Thailand. (I'm 6 feet tall, averaged 140 pounds in Thailand, and now weigh 205, but that's down from 230 when I retired in 2008.)
During most of the 80's I lived in Richmond, CA and assisted in the Laotian branch there.
Currently my wife and I are serving as stay-at-home church service missionaries, working at the Birmingham Alabama Employment Resource Center.
My professional goal as a retired person is to be a writer of stories and articles. (So far I've managed a few articles to the church magazines, but no fiction yet. Give me time.) My wife and I are also giving much thought to serving a mission.
I have 7 children, all married. (The picture is of me and daughters Aimee, Beth, and Tegan, taken about 1999.) My wife joined the church March 2001, got her endowment March 2002, and we were sealed as a couple May 26, 2005. We are very happy.
I miss all of youl that I knew and worked with. I got to see some of you at the old head reunion in Spring 2006. I don't get out West very often, so please send us a line.
