New Mission President 07 Jul 2011
As most of you probably knows, Elder & Sister Fry are finished their service in Ukraine Donetsk Mission. I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve under them and will always remeber their kindness and willing to help.
The new President of the mission is Vladimir Campero (you can find the information about him and his spouse here: http://www.ldschurchnews.com/articles/60815/New-mission-presidents.html). We are welcoming the new faces!!
Elder & Sister Fry got home on July, the 1st. Here's their report:
"We get home on July 1st! Our first weekend home and we get to celebrate the 4th of July weekend!!! We've forgotten what we do on the 4th! Being in Ukraine we don't celebrate our holidays but try to be respectful to the Ukrainian holidays which has been really fun and interesting. I'm thinking we will have a barbeque!! We haven't had one in 3 years!!! On July 10th we will be speaking in Church. I've tried to let those know that asked me to, but I don't have all the emails, so it starts at 9:00am at 1095 East St. James Lane. If you are coming from the north on I-15, take the St. George Blvd exit and then turn left. Go to the 2nd light(River Road) and turn right. After you cross the bridge and start up the hill, as you crest the hill turn right on St. James Lane. If you are coming from the south, on I-15, take the Bluff Street exit then turn right. Stay on this road(Riverside Drive) and wind around ( you will pass an Elementary School). When you get to River Road, turn right and you will cross the bridge and so forth. Hope all of you are doing great!! oo-veed-em-saw!!" (thank you so much Sister Fry! The information is with courtesy from Sister Fry's blog: http://timandjeanniefry.blogspot.com/).
I currently have no knew about President Campero. Will keep in touch.
