The Church in Kharkov
The following info was received from Elder Ty Woods who is currently serving in Kharkov as a Zone Leader:
"This past Sunday our new building in center was dedicated. It's the first
one in the city. They have had the land for five years, and they've been
working on it for awhile. It's a really big deal, and it was a neat
experience to be there. It's a full size two story stake center, (w/o
cultural hall... but we do have a big ping-pong table! =) They also
announced there will be the first stake in all of eastern europe made in
Kiev by the end of the year, with the promise of the temple not too far
behind." September 2003
