As you can see, there's no place to walk on the side of the highway. It's quite difficult to get to the Stake Center. If you're driving northeast you have to drive far past it before there you can turn around and drive back to turn in to the small street next to the Temple site. Going southeast is not as bad, but I still wouldn't want to travel there in public transportation unless I was with someone who had done it before.
