Hello everyone,
Oh my goodness. So I've survived my first week in the CCM (MTC). It kind of felt like a month rather than a week but I made it haha. It's been an interesting experiences so far. Sometimes I love it and sometimes...well, sometimes I don't love it as much but I've been learning a lot and I love that. It's pretty really hard as far as communicating. I got put with a Latin district since I can already speak Spanish so I will only be here for 3 weeks total (2 more weeks to go yay!) But everything, EVERYTHING, is in pure Spanish. My companion is a sweet lil Latina from Chile and she's really nice but it's been quite the test to only be using Spanish. Cuz like you all know, I like to talk alot. I have alot to say. Always, but I'm very limited to what I can say in Spanish. I can tell I've already made a lot of progress with the language in the last week but it has been rough to not be able to epxress myself. It's kind of lonely when I have to keep the majority of my thoughts to myself but I'm getting better and I'm surviving. I understand everything that we talk about in class so that is good.
I only have 5 minutes so I better wrap it up. I didn't say half of what I wanted to say (I've been holding a weeks worths of ENGLISH thoughts inside so I have a ton of things to say) but I guess I will just write more tomorrow. I love you all and thanks for everything. I miss everyone very much and I hope to hear from you soon. Oh and if anyone feels like sending some goodies, I found my comfort food. Hot tamales and licorice. Anyway, I gotta go. Write me some letters cuz I haven't gotten anything.
