Comments: Life is awesome here in Bakersfield. I am starting my 11th year as the Bakersfield College Women's Basketball coach and love teaching at the college level. I think back to my days as a missionary in Utah and smile. How awesome it was to serve where everyone wondered why we were there. I loved speaking 3 times on sundays and covering 100 plus wards. BYU was the best. Does anyone know how to get ahold of Sister Pearce or Sister Garcia - how I miss those two. My activity in the church has never faultered and I draw from mission experiences to this day. I cannot drive past the old transfer chapel without wondering how everyone is doing and remembering how awesome it was to serve with amazing people in Utah.
