Hola amigos!

I finally graduated from BYU Apr '06 & work as an RN in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at Brandon Regional Hospital in FL. I met my wife in the anatomy lab (she also graduated as a nurse 2 yrs earlier) & we were sealed in the SL Temple Jun '02. We have 2 children, Caleb-4 & Adalee-22mo, w/ 1 on the way, which is where we use our nursing best—w/ Jeanette as Director of the SICHU (Seriously Intense Childcare Home Unit) which now consists of 2 very intense full-time permanent patients—Jeanette was the better candidate by far. I took Pres Stephens counsel to "marry up" quite seriously & "obeyed w/ exactness!"

I’m required to work 2yrs in the ICU before starting a Masters in Anesthesia to work as a CRNA. I’ve been invited to return & teach at BYU's Nursing Program (they must’ve pulled my name out of a hat), but I feel I would rather return & teach Anatomy (as I taught for 5 yrs as a student).

Our motto is "Let the Holy Spirit Guide" (like the hymn) & I believe it to be the only way to live day by day to bring about the true joy that comes from being an instrument in His hands—which continues to be our opportunity. If I run into any of you out there, may it be like the reunion portrayed in Alma 17:1-2

Until then, que vayan con Dios!

~Joshua
