Comments:
I went back to Venezuela last summer (2000) and did micro-credit lending and humanitarian service projects in Caracas and Punto Fijo. While there I visited an old companion, Oscar Atencia, in Maracaibo and later went back to the mission. I had an amazing time visiting people in Cuidad Bolivar, Puerto Ordaz and Upata. (I even saw three great missionaries I taught in the MTC) It was one of the highlights of my life. I realized how great those people are as I saw them two years later, embracing the gospel as much or even more than I do. It was an incredible and humbling experience. I recommed to anyone that they go back to visit. It means so much to the people you care about, and who care about you.
