Although it appears I'm the old guy on this list, to me it was just an instant ago that I served in Venezuela. I recall the mission with love and fondness, both for the land and the people. I enjoyed the entire experience; leaving the mission and land I loved were hard for me. However, life must move on as did I. The mission experience gave me a tremendous base to build upon in too many ways to list, but a few would include training as a husband, father, in business, and relationships in general. I received a spiritual foundation that blesses me and my family (lovely wife and 3 kids) to this day. My only regret is my failure to stay in contact with the great people I associated with in my second country. If anyone I knew reads this, please know I think of you often and include the people of Venezuela in my prayers. I have lived a very happy life to the present, having obtained an excellent wife and excellent children, as well as the ability to pursue my passions and interests. Feel free to email me. |
