At the age of 70, Mac Rey Call of the Roswell First Ward, Roswell New Mexico Stake, was called as president of the new Caracas D.F. Venezuela Temple, which will be dedicated August 20, 2000. President Call's wife, Carol Elizabeth Clark Call, will serve as temple matron. President Call was serving as a high priests group leader when he recived the call to serve as temple president. He has formerly served as president of the Lima Peru South Mission and as a high councilor, bishop and a bishop's counselor. He worked as a supervisor for ASARCO in El Paso, Texas, he graduated in agronomy and chemistry from BYU. He was born in Colonia Dublan, Mexico, to Charles Helaman and Hannah Skousen Call.
