Amy and I have five children (four at home, one in heaven). In this photo, you see Ava (7), Dylan (6), Tanith (3), and Shepard (1). We lost our son, Matthew, to a genetic disease in January 2008. He lived 13 days.
After several years teaching accounting at the University of San Diego and building a tax preparation practice in San Diego, we left during the summer of 2011 to begin work on a PhD in Accounting at Michigan State University. We will be in East Lansing for a total of 4 - 5 years.
