For anyone wondering, Tammy (Jenks) has finally left LDS Hospital to recover at home, though still in a hospital bed. She is suppose to remain in bed for a month, and then begin using a wheelchair. The process of walking again from there on will likely be determined by a physical therapist, and more of our prayers. She seems in good spirits, and her mom will be staying to care for her. She can be reached at 435-753-2105 for well wishes. Stephen and I are enjoying Alaska and will be here for the year. It's been snowing, and we've had some polar bears in town. Take care ya'all!

Sonya Howlett Abu wrote me the following about Sister Tammy Jenks:
I wanted to tell you that Tammy had a bad car accident this weekend up
Logan Canyon. She was driving and her family was in a car behind her- to go
camping. She was turning left when a van decided to pass her, thereby
broadsiding her- rolling her car- which then went into the ditch. Her pelvis
is broken in 4 places, as well as some ribs. She was lifeflighted to LDS
Hospital for surgery. Once the internal bledding stopped (she has a blood
clot) they did surgery today for 9 hours, but didn't finish. They will try
finish on Thursday. I wanted to post it on the mission website, but forgot my
password and name- so wanted to pass it on to you- she needs all the prayers
that will be offered- she is in a ton of pain-

Hey everyone!
I thought it would only be appropriate that you all should share our news. We're expecting a little girl on January fifth. We're very excited and nervous at the same time. We're going to be parents--AAAHHHHH!
Take care

Although he has done a reasonably good job of disappearing, note the slightly familiar white-haired man in this picture: http://www.ldsmusicworld.com/artists/brigham_graff.html

We were in contact with Julia Mikhaleva until just a few weeks ago. We have
been communicating via email and suddenly no word. She hoped to attend
BYU-Idaho next semester. Has anyone heard from her? She served in the
Wash DC N mission and was released in July and returned home to Orenburg,
Russia. Thanks for any word. Br and Sister Wight.

I hope that this sight gets a little more use than it has been getting. I have a few questions. Is that Fort still in use, and if not when did they finally condem that place? I don't know how many roches were killed there but I'm sure its alot. If anyone knows if
Ms. W's (Dubes) is still alive and are Elders still getting thier laundry done?

Does anyone know how to contact Pres and Sis Farnes? I saw them at their homecoming. I figure at least we could let them know about the site. I'm sure they'd like to see how we are all doing. Plus they may know how to contact more missionaries so we can really get this site hopping. Let me know...
Thanks, Laura
