Commentaires: I have been home now for 7 years. I can't believe the time has flown by so fast but a lot has happened in those years.
My wife (Sarah) and I have been married now for a little more than 6 years. We have a 2.5 year old daughter (Rachel), and a 10 month old son (Spencer).
For the first 4 years after my mission I lived in Rexburg where I attended both BYU-I (the church sent the fax on the change from Ricks College when I was in the office the day before going home) and Idaho State University. I am now a fourth year medical student at Des Moines University in Iowa. Needless to say I thought I was busy as a missionary but now life is insane. It's good though.
I have been able to serve in the church for about a year and a half as a counselor in the bishopric of a singles ward. It isn't quite like being a missionary but the feeling of service given is the same.
Life has been good for me and my little family. My wife and I often talk of my mission and the strength and foundation it was for me and now the blessing it is in our lives together. |
