President Hamula called into First Quorum of the Seventy

James J. Hamula, president of the Washington D.C. South Mission from 1994 to 1997, was sustained on April 5, 2008 as a new member of the 1st Quorum of the Seventy. Elder Hamula's new call comes after eight years of service as an Area Seventy in the North America Southwest Area. Elder and Sister Hamula have received expressions of love and support from many of their former missionaries, for which the Hamulas are deeply grateful.

Elder and Sister Hamula, along with their children, will be moving to Salt Lake City sometime this summer, where they have been advised they will be resident for a year prior to assignment elsewhere in the world. The Hamulas welcome their former missionaries to visit them after their move to Salt Lake City (about August 1).

Welcome to the Washington DC South Mission alumni web site. This site is dedicated to all the missionaries who served in the Washington DC South Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Take a minute to look for your friends and companions in the Alumni Database, or add your thoughts to the Message Board. There are a lot of features on this site, so check it out.

When you register, your profile will not appear until it is authorized by the webmaster. This is a new feature, in response to several incomplete and/or fake alumni registrations. Please be patient, as your information will almost always be posted within 24 hours. Suggestions and Comments are always welcome.
