SIB has revolutionized webmastering for LDS Mission Network, making the process of developing an alumni website for LDS returned missionaries a snap. SIB provides user-editable templates which opens the door for each webmaster to customize his or her site almost any way they wish.
In an effort to give webmasters more control—and hopefully to make designing easier—SIB ZEN was born. SIB ZEN is a “garden” of style where SIB developers and webmasters can (hopefully) get inspiration, help, and find downloadable [1] “themes.”
Do you want to plant a row in the SIB ZEN garden for others to harvest? Start by downloading the sample HTML and CSS files.
Although you can’t alter the garden (a.k.a. the HTML), as a CSS geneticist, you can engineer your seeds (CSS) any way you wish.
Plant all of your images in the same row (folder) as your CSS (images should be referenced like this:
.myclass { background: url(flower.jpg); }
When you have a working model for us to look at, please let us know so we may consider growing it in our own SIB ZEN garden.
If you wish to release your work for the entire SIB community, please indicate in your CSS file.
