We (my husband John and I) joined the Church in 1995. At the time we had two sons and were living at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Now we have 6 children (5 boys and 1 girl) and live in Fredericksburg, VA. We miss Alaska terribly!
John and I have worked with the Cub Scouts and 11 yr old scouts since our oldest was 8 years old (he's now 20). And I've served in Primary and Relief Society. My understanding of the Gospel and the love that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father have for me has grown exponentially since joining the Church. I am so greatful the the missionaries who knocked on my door one October day and for their perserverence as I struggled with my own uncertainties and ultimately joined the Church. |
