Since then , I got married, I obtained a Manufacturing Engineering degree from BYU, I have been employed with John Deere, been living in Iowa and loving it.
My wife and I have 9 children, four of which are married with children. My oldest boy is a sophomore at the U of Iowa, a daughter ready graduate high school and three boys in 9th, 8th and 6th grades. All three play soccer and will continue to I am sure. We have 10 grandchildren. The 4 married girls are spread from Maryland to Illinois to Rexburg, ID.
We are having a family reunion in Macks Inn, ID (near Yellowstone Nat'l Park) this summer, during the week of Aug 13 - 19, 2006. Come look us up if you are in the area.
We are always in Iowa. In the Nauvoo Temple district by the way. It is just a 3 hour ride south, down the I-380. It is already labled "the Avenue of the Saints" because when it is done it will link St.Paul, MN with St. Louis, MO.
Life is good, there are a million other things that have occured since we've talked last. I've been in touch with Ted Haws, Rick Sheffield and Stan Albrecht. All seem to be doing quite well. |
