I MARRIED THERESA MEYER 6 MONTHS AFTER I RETURNED HOME. I WORKED AS A MECHANIC IN LAS VEGAS UNTIL 1991. I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL IN IOWA AND BECAME A CHIROPRACTOR. WE STAYED IN IOWA UNTIL 1997. WE MOVED TO KENTUCKY AND I PRACTICED THERE UNTIL 1998. IN 1998 we moved to PRICE, UT WHERE I PURCHASED A PRACTICE. WE LOVE IT HERE. SINCE I'VE BEEN HOME FROM MY MISSION I HAVE STAYED FAITHFUL IN THE GOSPEL. IT IS MY ANCHOR IN LIFE ALONG WITH MY FAMILY. I'VE BEEN ELDERS QUOURUM PRESIDENT. A COUNSELOR IN THE BISOPRIC TWICE. A BISHOP FOR 5 1/2 YEARS. ON THE STAKE HIGH COUNCIL. WARD AND STAKE YOUNG MENS PRESIDENT. I have currently been recomissioned to serve another term as Bishop and also a veil worker at the Manti Temple. I have been doing that now since June of 2003. I want you to know that it is much more difficult this time around, 15 years later. The problems people struggle with are much greater than when I did this the first time. We didn't have the internet and all of the media capabilities that we have now and it is taking it's toll on the lives of people because of the abuse of a good thing.I LOVE THE YOUTH OF THE CHURCH AND ENJOY BEING WITH THEM. I HAVE SIX KIDS KYLA 27, married to Jason Armstrong from California. She met him at BYU. Russell age 24 he finished his mission in Bolivia and married Christa Woodward a sharp girl from Price who waited for him. CRYSTAL 22 who met a guy at BYU who was from here and they had never met before and they got married about a year and a half ago, his name is Steve Brown. MICHAEL AND SCOTT 20, they are the twins. They are presently serving missions in Venezuela then moved to Chile (Scott) and Chicago South Spanish Speaking (Mike). They will be home in June and August this year. MCKENNA (SHE KEEPS US ALL INLINE). I now have 3 grandchildren, one from each of my married kids. HOPE TO HEAR FROM ANY OF YOU WHOM I SERVED WITH. ESPECIALLY TRYING TO FIND ELDER Scott Wright. |
