Comments:
After returning from Argentina, I went to the 'Y', met my wife (we celebrated 30 years of marriage in September of '12), graduated with a BA in English and spent most of the rest of this time as a Marine. I retired 31/12/07. I earned an MA in International Relations from Webster University to go along with the 10 years spent as a Latin America and Caribbean Foreign Area Officer. One of my assignments took me back to Argentina in ‘02, but I went to Zárate; no chance to visit any mission areas. I was disappointed, but enjoyed where were went.

I have a VERY special companion, the love of my life, and two wonderful daughters. My oldest married in Feb'10 and had our 2nd grandson in Feb '11. My youngest married in Aug '08, graduated from BYU Apr 09 w/a BA in English, just like her dad! She had our 1st grandchild 6 Aug '10 (34 yrs and a day after I entered the MTC) and out first granddaughter July 3 of 2012. Her husband is now finishing a Psych PhD program at Rice after earning his MA earlier this year and graduating the 'Y' in 2010. We have travelled frequently between SC and TX for quite a while now.

I've served in Ward Bishoprics 3 times and curently as a High Counselor in the Wilmington, NC Stake, for the second time. I taught Seminary for two years after returning from working in Southern Sudan and Equatorial Guinea on Security Sector Reformation projects. I left Africa 4/09. I came back to the States to work for the Marine Corps College of Distance Education and Training as the Regional Chief Instructor for Expeditionary Warfare School where I taught Marine Captains the art of being a Marine Planner and professional Marine Air/Ground Task Force Officer, preparing them for promotion to Major.

I did that until July of last year. Presently, I am enjoying a breather while deciding what to do now that I am grown up. Stay tuned, the next chapter may be interesting.
