Elder Mullen is currently serving in Gyumri. They have been blessed during Jubilee August. He still loves the people and the work. He recently sent pictures of Water Day 2004. (He thinks we should adopt the holiday here in the U.S.)
Elder Mullen is one of seven elders who arrived in Armenia in February 2003. He enjoyed the time he spent preparing in the MTC, but was glad to finally arrive in country. He has already grown to love the people he serves as well as those with whom he serves. Elder Mullen had a strong testimony before leaving for his mission and the few months he has spent serving have given new depth to his testimony. In his words "The gospel is true ... this church is amazing!" He especially enjoys having the whole mission come together on Saturdays for baptisms. Elder Mullen knows he has been spoiled by serving in Yerevan Center and looks forward to serving in other areas. |
