My wife and I served in the Australia Brisbane Mission with our five children from July 1980 until July 1983. The children who accompanied us were David13, Christy 10, Curtis 9, Angela 7, and Cathy 2. Our eldest, Dennis, passed away five years before and our last child, Laurel, was born the year following our return home. After 40 years of service, I retired from the Church Educational System in July 2005. I currently serve as bishop of the Auberry Ward, Fresno California North Stake, and Deanna is compassionate service leader. David, Sheri & 6 children live in Washington where he serves as bishop; Christy works for the Church in Salt Lake City;Curtis, Emily & 5 kids live in Pleasant Grove; Angela, Byron & baby live in Oregon; Cathy works with Curtis and lives in Provo and Laurel is serving in the Chile Rancagua Mission. Our life is wonderful and we have many very pleasant memories of our dear missionaries in the ABM. |
