I really loved my mission and got to know a heap of really nice people. We were married in the New Zealand temple in 1982 and we have 3 boys and 2 girls.
My testimony and faith in the Gospel continues to grow, and I am forever grateful for the wonderful blessings my loving Father in Heaven continues to shower upon me and my family.
When I find the time, I enjoy saltwater fishing around the islands here (in our 6m ally boat), four wheeling, drag racing and playing around with old V8 Fords.
Bev and I (and 2 of our children) attended October General Conference in 2006. We drove from LA to Vegas to St George, then SLC (where we caught up with Randy and Teri Beck), and then drove back via Bryce Canyon. We spent quite a bit of time in Orange County and hit heaps of theme parks and tourist sites between San Diego and 6 Flags. What a wonderful experience.
In October 2009 we returned to the US with our oldest son and his wife and hit NY, Niagra, Palmyra, Nauvoo, SLC (where we again caught up with Randy and Teri Beck), Vegas, San Francisco where we drove down the coast to LA. What a wonderful drive. Our favourite places were Palmyra and Nauvoo. Wow! What an experience! Also, USA is such a beautiful place.
