My first wife, Lynnette, and I were married for 25 years - Dave and Katie Stewart were with us in the Manti temple for our marriage, one month before their own. We have one son, who served honorably in the Germany Frankfurt Mission, and returned December 2002. He is now married with a year-old son and they live in Albuquerque. He works for Lockheed Martin there.
We revisited parts of the San Diego mission area Christmastime of 1996 and had a wonderful time.
Lynnette passed away suddenly in 2003 of a heart attack. I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven for the years He gave us to be together and for our eternal marriage.
I remarried on December 28, 2004 in the Mount Timpanogos temple. Kathy and I have been best friends for many years, and are very happy it worked out this way. All who know us both are very pleased as well. Kathy's daughter gave us our first grandchild in August 2005, and we went to Italy to see her. She's beautiful! Her second daughter had a daugher in June 2007. Together we now have four granddaughters and 2 grandsons. It's great!
I serve Saturday nights as an ordinance worker in the Portland, Oregon Temple. I love it! Life continues to be good! |
