My name is Edinalva but people call me Didi.
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have been living here in USA for 6 years.
I came here to study and improve my English language skills, in order to prepare for a Temple mission.
Some of my thousands favorites verses in the Book of Mormon are in 3 Nephi 17 which talk about the compassion of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was speaking to the nephites. The scriptures said that there were about 2500 people. Their souls were filled with the spirit. Jesus Christ prayed to God, He blessed those were sick, those were afflicted and the children; and because of the people’s faith, He cried.
In my heart I feel the spirit like those people.
I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I know they love me. I feel their blessings each day in my life.
I know this Church is true. Jesus Christ is on the head of the Church. I know Pres. Hinckley is a true prophet and guide us to “stand a little taller”. I know it. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen |
