I've finished my masters in literature and writing at Utah State, at the tail end of which I got married (to a man I had to chase around for 2 years). I am now spending most of my life chasing after 6 yr old Alexander and his 4 yr old sister Katrina. I transcribe part time for the Disability Resource Center at USU and for BYU-I and am trying to get my writing career started, but my kids take priority. My husband, Arno, works in real estate and retail and is trying to start a non profit science discovery center and outreach for elementary kids. I am more or less living my happily ever after.
However, in June of this last year, just after I wrote this profile, my sweet baby of 4 months died in a tragic accident. Only the Lord has helped us through this tragedy and other harships we've been through because of it. Over this time, the Lord has taken us through a steep learning curve. I have never had to face a harder time nor a time more spiritually enlightening. Before, I had a firm testimony. Now, I have begun to know the Lord and His plan for me on a personal level that constantly astonishes me. I don't know everything in his plan for me, not by half, but I'm eager to know and follow and to help others follow. |
