Hey, my son just got called to a great California mission, and we are thrilled! It's the best place in the world a guy could get sent to. I was looking up things on his mission and found a home page, and snooped around 'til I found this one. It seems like one hundred years ago that I was serving in California, but I recognize a number of names in this Alumni list. This is bringing back great memories. Just a few items that may be of interest: I am married to Barbara Bridge (the girl who was waiting for me) and we will have our 24th anniversary on December 18, 2006. We have 6 children (3 of both kinds) and live in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. I am serving as the Bishop of the Raymond 7th Ward, and our testimonies are stronger than ever. I would love to hear from anyone who served in the early 80's and who might remember me. Some of my companions that I remember were: Bart Devenberg, Mark Price, Jeff Counts, Greg Holmes, Elder Gerberding, Clayton Lovendale, Newton Andrews, Earl Stephenson, Gary Blair, Elder Ursenback, etc.. |
