Comments:
Elder Wenz loves being a missionary for the Lord.. He has been a member of the church his entire life.. He was born in Louisville Ky.. and moved to Crestwood Ky when he was 6 . He has one younger sister.. Charlie Suzanne.. Sadly for them , their parents are no longer together.. and naturally this event was a real test and trial of faith and endurance for Jake and his sister.. Jakes Mother , Angie was married several weeks after jake left to serve his mission..So While Jakes been out.. His Momma remarried and moved to New Albany Indiana... He now has an awesome step father Josh and two step brothers.. He has a new home address as well.. Jakes Father lives in Shelbyville Ky..most of Jakes Aunts-Uncles and many cousins live in Ky.. some in Ohio, TN- Tx-IL-MO. Jake is very close and fond of all of his many cousins.. and all of them have set such good examples for him to witness his entire life.. Many are returned missionaries and most have all married in the temple. In this part of the Country families might seem a little closer than in other areas. ..so Jakes love and connection for his cousins is a big big part of his life as well as they share a testimony of the restored Gospel... they werent just cousins.. in many ways Jake has been blessed with 15 plus other siblings... and Jake has shared many loving memories . They have influenced his life . Jakes Beautiful and most Beloved Grandmother passed away about 8months into his mission..she will be sadly missed at the airport the day he returns with honor from his mission.. Jake is very aware of how he has been blessed with so much love and blessings from the Gospel in his life.. His family is a great treasure and support for him his entire life.. Jake is loved every where he goes and he also loves everyone he comes to know and serve.. He was meant to be a missionary and we are so very thankful and humbled by his obedient sweet spirit ... Elder Wenz is just Everything a young man could every hope to be!
