I am from Fillmore California. I currently live in Orem Utah with my husband. My sister Roxanna & her husband live in Orem also along with my brother Isaac. Growing up in the Fillmore ward our family loved the missionaries and we keep in touch with several. My mom and dad are great examples to me of missionary work. They love helping. When I was about 17 years old we had sisters put into our area after about 12 years. I was excited. I finally would be able to go on splits. As I got involved in helping both the english and spanish sisters my love and appreciation for missionary work grew. My testimony was strengthened. I will never forget an experience I had with Sisters Nybo, Hoffman, & Smith. It was while we sat in the car and offered a prayer before we went our seperate ways to teach. The spirit was amazing. It was then that I truly came to realize how much Heavenly Father watches over his servants and the power and guidance that he offers them. |
