We love the missionaries of the church, especially those special few called to labor in Ventura. So many young Elders and Sisters have touched our lives as they have passed through our stake, ward, and home. Even closer to our hearts are those we have brought into our family during their time in the Ojai wards.
Our family is growing stronger everyday. Steve is currently serving as Elders quorum president in the Ojai 2nd ward, Karen is the ward geneology super-woman. Lauren is the Laurel class president and was just accepted to BYU for next fall, Tyler was just ordained to the office of a Teacher. Adam just turned 12 and received the Aaronic priesthood, and Garrett looks forward to that milestone in his own life next march although the Elders still tease him for looking like a 7-year-old. And as always our home still seems to be a favorite missionary hang out (it must be the food).
