Our youngest son Jared was just called to the Edmonton Alberta mission and we are excited. He enters the MTC in Provo on April 15, 2009.

I am a convert to the Church and was baptised at 14 years of age in Texas on September 19, 1970. I served a mission to Munich Germany from 1975-1977, and was married to my beautiful and wonderful wife, Gail, in the Salt Lake Temple in April 1978.

We have five children (3 girls and two boys) and now have six grandchildren. Our oldest son, Jeff, served in the Paris France mission from 2005-2007 and was married in the Boise Idaho Temple in March of 2008.

We love the Lord and all He and our Father in Heaven have done for us, and continue to do. Gail and I are excited to begin serving missions together in five years when I retire if the good Lord so wills it and allows.

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
