When my son was born in 1993, I knew that I needed all the help I could get to raise a child in this day and age to have good, strong morals and values. Although I enjoyed going to church growing up and participating in Sunday school, choir, etc I always felt as though "something" was missing. I had been to many different churches in my life and not one of them felt quite right. So I prayed.
The answer to that prayer was a knock on my door a couple of weeks later (while there were Jehovah Witnesses in my living room, no less!) When I opened my door to find two inspirational young men, wearing name tags and dressed in suits, the Spirit hit me SMACK in the face. I knew without a doubt, right then and there, that those two missionaries were sent to bring me "home".
Thank you so very much Elder Nuttall and Elder McQuhae! You brought the fullness of the true gospel to my life and showed me the way home. For that I am forever grateful! |
