President Potter was called to preside over the Canada Toronto Mission. Shortly after his first year, the mission was divided into the Toronto East and Toronto West Missions. President Potter remained as president of the West Mission headquartered in downtown Brampton.
President Potter is currently the president of the Hill Cumorah visitors center mission. He is over 58 missionaries. After finishing being the mission president, he was called to be a counselor in the Washington, D.C. temple. After he completed that mission, he came home to UT to be a temple sealer in the Salt Lake Temple. He didn't last too long before being called to Palymra. He said he has been away from home on church duties for 8 of the last 10 years. |
