Shakeh and I are still in inner city Philly. We just found out Shakeh is pregnant!!! We're due in August and we can't wait. I graduated last May from Temple. We loved it here so much we decided to stay. The Lord's work has been tremendous here as our ward split last year and Shakeh was called to be the Young Women's President. The inner city youth are great. Especially seeing the new converts and how they learn to live the gospel. I was called to be the Gospel Essentials teacher for the investigator/new member class. I love it, we have about 20-30 people each Sunday. Shakeh is working as an administrative assistant. I am currently a project manager for real estate projects. Shakeh and I had the great oppurtunity to take our friend Crystal Caribou through the Salt Lake Temple this December and drop her off at the MTC. I had the priviledge to baptize Crystal when she was 16 while I was serving in Flin Flon. She is now in the Vancouver Canada mission serving bringing the gospel to others including her fellow lamanites. My brother-in-law is serving with President and Sister Layton in Bankok Thailand mission. Other than that I love reading about everyone. |
