I have been married for nine years. Seven have been at BYU where my husband finished his PhD in Electrical Engineering. I graduated from BYU in 1998. We have three children- Devan (8), Elizabeth (6), and Spencer (3). We're expecting our fourth in December. I'm a stay at home mom who writes cookbooks. I am currently finishing writing my 10th book. Some may have heard of my first book "101 Things to Do With A Cake Mix". In February 2003, my husband and I made a trip back to Santiago where I was able to do national and local radio shows, newspaper interviews, and speak at a Relief Society Conference of 1000 Chileans. It was incredible and scary! Miracles still happen in Chile- my Spanish came back as needed! We spent the 2004-2005 school year in Rexburg, Idaho, while my husband filled a one year teaching vacancy. We loved it there surrounded by Ivan's family. In July 2005, we moved to Tucson, Arizona, where my husband works for Raytheon. I currently serve as the Ward Primary President and love it. My husband is a ward missionary which keeps us heavily involved in the missionary work which we also both love. |
