In Nov. it'll be five years since I got home. Since then things have been crazy enough that it doesn't seem possible that it has been so long. I graduated from Texas A&M, worked with pond scum for a year (don't ask, it was really lame) and then moved to California to get my Masters in Genetic Counseling, which is not about cloning or telling peole with whom they should have kids to keep the gene pool clean. If you REALLY want the spiel, email me, but I will spare you otherwise. I am now officially graduated, certified, and working as a Cancer Risk Counselor at the City of Hope, Comprehensive Cancer Center. I really love what I am doing and glad that I found my niche. California is a change from Texas, but I am loving it, too. My family is doing great and I am the proud aunt of 3 nephews, 3 nieces, and 1 gender unknown, unborn baby. The church is still true, even in a singles ward and I have been put to work in the Lord's vineyard, so all is good in that area. |
