| Well it seems as if another of Heavenly Father's children has come to an understanding of the truthfulness of the gospel and it is awesome to be a part of that. This past summer Elder Tervort and I had asked for referrals from the members for awhile to not much avail. Well we recieved a referral from a less-active member. To make a long story short we taught her over time. She was always interested in learning more and felt all was true. Her hang up was her anti-mormon mom. The great news is that she has decided to be baptized as she knows the church is true and wants to be a part of it. Her baptisimal interview was today(Wed. Nov. 9th) and her baptism is this Sunday (Nov. 13th, 2005) Elder McDonald and I are so happy and excited for her. She is a great young lady with a good head on her shoulders. That has been our great exciting news for the week.
Post Script: (FYI) They may or may not be at a Wal-Mart near you but the store here in Dodge is selling small figures of the angel Moroni for $10.45. It is beautiful, in-expensive and exciting knowing Wal-Mart has put this out and is available to all. |
