Baptism/Moroni 09 Nov 2005
Well it seems as if another of Heavenly Father's children has come to an understanding of the truthfulness of the gospel and it is awesome to be a part of that. This past summer Elder Tervort and I had asked for referrals from the members for awhile to not much avail. Well we recieved a referral from a less-active member. To make a long story short we taught her over time. She was always interested in learning more and felt all was true. Her hang up was her anti-mormon mom. The great news is that she has decided to be baptized as she knows the church is true and wants to be a part of it. Her baptisimal interview was today(Wed. Nov. 9th) and her baptism is this Sunday (Nov. 13th, 2005) Elder McDonald and I are so happy and excited for her. She is a great young lady with a good head on her shoulders. That has been our great exciting news for the week. Post Script: (FYI) They may or may not be at a Wal-Mart near you but the store here in Dodge is selling small figures of the angel Moroni for $10.45. It is beautiful, in-expensive and exciting knowing Wal-Mart has put this out and is available to all.
