After a lifetime of dedication to the church, having served as EQ President, Stake YM President, Seminary Teacher for four years, Bishopr three times and Stake High Councilor, I have come to know the church is not what it claims to be.
In my study and search to better know the Lord and strengthen my faith in Christ it became clear that the "restored" church of Joseph Smith is not in harmony with Jesus teaching in the New Testament nor is it His church. LDS prophets contradict one another and have twisted the doctrines of Christ.
I have found amazing understanding, light and happiness outside of Mormonism and am grateful for God's grace and mercy.
Despite my spiritual progress away from the church, I still hold nothing but love and appreciation for my experiences and friendships from our time in the CDSM. Would love to talk to any of you and discuss my journey! Hit me up on facebook too. |
