My husband and I have almost been married 5 years now. We have been going through some difficult struggles trying to have a baby and hope and pray everyday that the Lord will bless us soon. I'm working at Box Elder High School as a teacher's aide in the ESL (English as a Second Language) program. It has been very rewarding being able to use my Spanish to work with these wonderful latino kids. The majority come from Mexco. My husband works for Delta Airlines which has allowed us to visit Costa Rica, Spain, and most recently, Paris, which was amazing! I even learned a little French! My husband and I are currently serving as the Advisory couple for the young single adults of our ward. The bishop thought we would be good since we used to be a part of that group! I think of my mission a lot, especially the wonderful people, missionaries and ticos alike! It was one of most cherished experiences of my life! I do have a strong testimony of the Gospel. I don't know what I would do without my faith to help get me through the struggles my husband and I are are going through right now! Pura Vida! |
