I have done my best to be faithful in Church service since the mission. Just about every day I reflect upon the mission and the experiences there, and I think of some of those with whom I served. As a fairly new convert at the time I began to serve as a full-time missionary, and as the only member of my family at the time, I looked to President Hunsaker as much as a father as a mission president. I have served in leadership capacities in the ward and stake for many years, and I most enjoy working with young men and the youth in general. I have returned twice for one week each to northern Costa Rica, although I never served there, and love the beauty of that country. I served in three countries for extended periods of time but only visited Nicaragua briefly on 2 or 3 occasions.
I would welcome contact from any former Central America Mission laborer. Hope to hear from you. |
