Ahoj!

I live in Fordland, which is just east of Springfield, Missouri! My journey began in South Salt Lake City, Utah, where I proudly graduated from Granite High School—home of the very first Seminary in the Church. In 1995, I answered the call to serve as a missionary in the Czech Prague Mission, an experience that profoundly shaped my perspective and strengthened my commitment to the Gospel. Upon returning, I delved into my passion for history, earning a degree in History Education from the University of Utah.

My journey continued at the Salt Lake Institute of Religion, where I completed the pre-service program and embarked on a teaching career, starting with Released-Time Seminary in 2000. Seeking to enhance my educational toolkit, I pursued graduate studies in Instructional Design and Educational Technology, ultimately earning a Masters of Education and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Family holds a special place in my heart. I am married to the wonderful Alissa Gailey, whom I met in the YSA ward in South Salt Lake. Our union was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, and together we are blessed with four daughters and a son, as well as two delightful granddaughters.

As I navigate the intricate tapestry of life, my abiding love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its Restoration to the latter days serves as my guiding light. I am continually inspired by the principles of faith, family, and lifelong learning.

S laskou,
Goldy
