Presidents: William "Jack" Mitchell (1978 - 1981) | Dale Inkley (1981 - 1981) | James Jesperson (1981 - 1983) | Served: 1980 - 1982 | Language(s) spoken:Spanish, English | Areas Served: Barrio Sur, Barrio Centenario, Barrio Lindo, Jipijappa, Pajan, Vinces, Duran | Companions: John Cook Carter | Clark Lee | David Milliner | Your Occupation: Program Manager for Lockheed Martin | Spouse: Ronda Millward | Comments: I was one of the missionaries that had three mission presidents: Mitchell, Inkley, Jessperson. I was a district leader in Vinces. My district consisted of 1 companionship, my own! I was a Z.L. in Centenario for several months before I elected to shorten my mission to 22 months after all missions were shorten to 18 months. After returning from my mission I attended BYU were I graduated in 1984, got married (my wife Ronda is from Grace Idaho) 2 days after graduation, and moved to Owego NY (beautiful upstate Village on the Susquehanna River) where I took a job with IBM. I'm still in Owego now working for Lockheed Martin. I live 2 hours from the Hill Cumorah and church history sites so please stop by if you're in the area. I currently have 7 children ranging in age from 5 years old to 24 (5 boys, 2 girls). My oldest son served a mission in the Utah Ogden mission and will graduate from BYU in April of 2010. I would love to hear from any of you. I am currently serving in the Owego Stake Presidency as 2nd Counselor - I'm finding this calling so much better then Bishop. Hasta Luego.
PS. My feet are all recovered now from all the walking I did when serving and all bowel movements are close to normal once again.
PPS. If anyone knows the temple in the background of my pic, please let me know. |
