I served under President J. Lynn Shawcroft. My companions, for better or worse, were Scott Ward (MTC), Brandon Foster (MTC), Newel Price (trainer), Eric Gutierrez, Aaron Farish, Glen Sewell, Brian Ogborn, David Lundgreen, Sean Hullinger, Gerrit Hull, Joe Brown, Shawn Madsen, Raúl Criollo, David Koldewyn, Shawn Green and Eric Lapicola.
It’s hard to believe that I've been back from Ecuador for nearly 20 years. I graduated from BYU twice. First in 1992 with a degree in Political Science and Spanish. Then in 1995 from the BYU, J. Reuben Clark Law School, with a law degree. I was favored to practice law with my dad for many years. I married Jennifer Cherrington in March 1994. Jennifer and I adopted our first three children as newborns: Sarah in March 1999, Adam in November 2001 and Jack in 2005. After all of the paperwork and waiting periods we were sealed in the San Diego Temple in October 1999 and August 2002, and Mount Timpanogos Temple in July 2006. Jennifer and I had Claire in 2007. We have been very blessed. |
