I also served with Nancy Perez, Leslie Christofferson, Carolyn McAffee, Roslyn Cardon, and Pamela Davis. I also remember fondly sisters Poelman, Hicken, VanAusdale, Upcraft--so many others! Anyway, I loved my mission, but oddly enough I have a recurring nightmare that I am called to serve for an additional 6 months! Could be that's because the elders out with me had to choose 18 months or 24 months while we were in the MTC. After the mish, got a BA and taught Spanish for 10 years. Then I got an M.ED in counseling and worked as a middle school counselor for 6 years. I just changed to a different side of education and I'm directing a grant for the Jordan School District. Currently I'm in the stake Young Women's presidency and have remained active and faithful. I'd love to hear from any of you! The gal who used to cut my hair is married to Mark Peay. It's a small world! I'd love to hear from any of you, I have such fond memories of comps and special sisters and elders. |
