My companions were Elders Ray, Lot, Warner, Anderson, Arellano, Rivera, Hanson, Jenkins, Hall, Stradling and Pomeroy.
I married Grace Connell. We have 10 children, 2 boys and 8 girls. I graduated from BYU in Civil Engineering in 1980. Since then I have worked for consulting firms in Maryland and South Carolina. I decided to start my own business in 1988. I own a small construction company. I had the opportunity to do a little work on the Columbia, SC temple, including setting the cornerstone. Three of my daughters have served missions (Washington, Kennewick; Costa Rica, San Jose; and Poland, Warsaw), and another is planning to go in January. Two of our children are married, and we have one granddaughter. I am currently serving in the young men's presidnecy in our ward and am an assistant scoutmaster. It enjoy it immensely. I also work in the Columbia Temple, where I work the Spanish session (once a month) |
